Recent Prince George Hotel Review: "We stayed at the Prince George for four nights over New Year's Eve in 08/09 and had an amazing time. The location is excellent - an easy stumble to many great pubs, live music, delicious restaurants. We took in a Halifax Mooseheads game one night too - definitely worth an evening and the rink is right across from the hotel. The staff were amazing right from the start: from giving us a list of great music places to ordering us pizza at 2am after a late night out. They were endlessly helpful and genuinely interested in ensuring that we had a positive stay. The rooms were great: comfortable beds, Aveda products in the bathroom and big TVs. The only odd experience we had was housekeeping coming to clean the room at 8:45 one morning and waking us both up. From then on, we made sure we kept the "Do Not Disturb" sign on until we left for the day. Parking is conveniently located right under the hotel and you won't need to drive much at all you really need to see is a few blocks away. One of the big pleasant surprises of the hotel we discovered while snowed in on New Year's Day was an enclosed passage connecting many of the major buildings to the hotel. Without going outside, you can get to a mall, other hotels or the casino within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, staff, comfort and convenience."
